How to login to Alvis🔗

Before you attempt to login using either method described below, please ensure that your computer is connected to SUNET.

🌐 Using a web browser: Login to the Alvis Ondemand Web Portal

This method is recommended for beginners who have little or no experience with a command line interface

This method is recommended for users prefering to work with a command line interface

Open a terminal on your local machine

Connect to one of the Alvis login nodes: alvis1.c3se.chalmers.se or alvis2.c3se.chalmers.se using SSH and your Chalmers credentials (CID)
