First-time users¶
Welcome to the High Performance Compute (HPC) systems at Chalmers. Before you can start working on one of the systems, there are a few steps to go through.
- Create an account on SUPR, the Swedish User and Project Repository. SUPR is NAISS database to keep track of persons, projects, and proposals for Swedish compute resources.
- Decide which resource you want to use.
- Become a member of a project on the resource that you want to use. You can do this by either joining an existing project or writing your own project proposal.
- Approve the user agreement for that resource.
- Request an account for the resource(s) that you want to use. Having a SUPR account does not automatically mean that you have an account on Vera, for example.
- Follow an intro seminar for your resource of choice.
- Chalmers students should take the online computer cluster introduction.
